The cost of hybrid cars though are a bit expensive, it can be cost effective in the long term. It can be much more costly than conventional gasoline powered vehicles. The high price is due to the cost of extra batteries, and extra electronic components and due to other considerations related with its design.

There are many people who might think that hybrid cars would offer good reimbursement in terms of savings in the cost of fuel. However, the savings also depend on the distance traversed, the fuel costs, and the mileage the vehicle offers.
