However, as the hybrid electric cars come with an electric motor instead of the regular combustion engine, it greatly reduces noise emissions as compared to gasoline powered automotives. At slower speeds, hybrid electric cars are extremely quieter.

Moreover hybrid vehicles help to lessen the amount of fog in the air. Thus, the general respiratory problems can be reduced from using hybrid electric automobiles. So, if individuals are looking for cleaner and fresh air, and want to enjoy the serenity and peace when they go for a walk in their neighborhood, they might hope people start buying these hybrid electric cars. The cost of hybrid cars though are a bit expensive, it can be cost effective in the long term. It can be much more costly than conventional gasoline powered vehicles. The high price is due to the cost of extra batteries, and extra electronic components and due to other considerations related with its design.

There are many people who might think that hybrid cars would offer good reimbursement in terms of savings in the cost of fuel. However, the savings also depend on the distance traversed, the fuel costs, and the mileage the vehicle offers. Nevertheless, how much money a hybrid electric automobile can actually save is yet a contentious issue.  Therefore, in countries with extreme air and noise pollution problems, a hybrid car can be best solution.
