The old Chevy Traverse will be revived as the Traverse Limited in 2024.

Despite the debut of a new model, the current-generation three-row SUV, which has been on the market since the 2018 model year, will remain on the market for a little while longer.

The 2024 Chevrolet Traverse Limited is a manufacturing extension of the previous-generation three-row SUV.
According to Driving.ca, the current generation will be produced for a longer period of time than previously anticipated.
The new 2024 Traverse is set to arrive early next year, although the two will most likely overlap.
The old-generation Chevrolet Traverse will be available for the 2024 model year, following in the footsteps of cars such as the Ram 1500 Classic, Nissan Rogue Select, and Chevrolet Malibu Classic. It will be known as the 2024 Traverse Limited, and a Chevy spokeswoman confirmed to C/D that it would be "available for a short period" as GM ramps up manufacturing for the revamped 2024 Traverse, which was introduced earlier this year.

The Traverse Limited will be offered in the same trim levels as the outgoing 2023 model, including LS, LT, RS, Premier, and High Country, according to GM's fleet purchase guide. The lone engine option will be a 3.6-liter V-6 with either front- or all-wheel drive.

We don't know how long the Traverse Limited and the new Traverse will share the showroom, but Chevrolet claims the new model will arrive in "early 2024." Pricing for the new vehicle isn't out yet, but we anticipate it to be more expensive than the Traverse Limited, which means you may save a lot of money if you stick with the older model. However, you will be missing out on the new Traverse's improvements, which include a more powerful turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and a radically remodeled interior with a bigger touchscreen.
